5th Grade Event

Wow! How has it happened that our not-so-long-ago Kindergartners have become a Fifth Graders?!?!
To celebrate their journey through elementary school, each year, the 5th Grade parents/guardians put together an end of year celebration for the 5th Grade students, known as the 5th Grade Event.
As part of the 5th Grade Event, all 5th Graders will receive a t-shirt and yearbook. There is no cost to the students or their families for this event. The event and take-homes for the students are fully funded through the Pfaff PTO, with additional funds raised through Soft Pretzel Sales during some lunches and additional fundraisers throughout the year. All 5th Graders will participate in a service project this year as well. In addition, a class photo and theme-designed flag will be displayed in the Pfaff atrium for years to come.
While June is still several months away, the planning starts earlier, beginning with a theme (to be kept secret from the students). The formation of sub-committees took place at our first meeting.
